Really a usefull site. Regards Anuroop Sehgal //Thank you Sir. Hi... Isn't there a one do-not-call registry for all these companies? It would be nice if there is only one list to which we need to subscribe... & banks update their database from it. Thanks Krunal //Unfortunately TRAI designed it and we have to follow it. //You no more have to register with Non Telecom Companies. Hi, The link you have given on your website for DNCR of TAT-AIG is incorrect and leads to just it’s customer service page. Kindly update the correct link Regards Sriram Somayajula // You no more have to register with Non Telecom Companies. // See Pictorial Diagram of how the Registry works http://www.NDNCRegistry.com Why cant the Government have one registry of phone numbers that do not want any calls from any party ? If customer wants calls he will inform the Company I want calls. Intrusive calls have caused medical emergencies, car accidents and yet the game goes on. And the registry is a joke. Akhil Marfatia //We do think so that the Design by TRAI was wrong, can't help it Thank you very much for getting all companies at one location, it would however have been great if you could have had one registration for all companies. just one form to fill and all companies are intimated about the number which should not get called. Regards Sudhir //Already answered above Dear sirs, Thank you for the service. But why should I register with each service provider separately. Please include one button which sends my msg to all such disturbing companies. Thank you S.S.Mani //Already answered above I am not willing to register at any of the sites, because they ask for various other personal details, which I do not want to release. The end result is that the purpose of the DNC/DND Registry service is rendered useless Deepu Patel //Yes Sir, message conveyed to TRAI In the list of links for Do Not Call, I do not find Kotak Mahindra bank. They have very annoying call centres which keep calling again and again inspite of telling them not to call. In addition, there is no link at Kotak website for Do Not Call registration. Please have Kotak put a functional Do Not Call link on their website. Sudhanshu // No more necessary. As per TRAI directive, we need to register only with Telecom Companies Hello, When we appreciate that you have made a registry with links to all providers, we would like to bring to your notice that it is practically not possible to go and register in all the 40+ links. We should have a provision to put in our details, our land line + mobile numbers and it should be used by all these companies. Regards, JG Giridhar //Sir, no more necessary. Just register with your telecom company Dear Sir, We have made mockery of ndnc registry. The process is very unfriendly. The procedure prvides all stupid menu options and promotions. I have called twice and waited for over 10 minutes. Finally some one comes on line take the request. On demnading gives the registration no as ************ on 2nd Sept at around 8.30 am. Finally she says i have opted for promotion and disconnects. The teleresponder are highly illiterate and incomeptent like the Telecos. Please suggest some to offer the ndd registartion simple, straight and fast which requireing to hold on the mobile line for 10 minutes. I am forwarding this mail to every one who may look into the matter. AG //Forwarded to TRAI A person should be required to register only at one place and DND service should be active for all tele marketing companies. registering with individual companies is next to impossible Regards Sanjeev Singhal //Already answered above My suggestions :- --------------- 1) A consumer should just me made to register on a single website and that should serve as a Central database. 2) This Central database should be updated on a set frequency, lets say every week, and then available for download from NDNC website for Tele-marketeers. 3) A solid complaint redressal mechanism and this should be supplemented by stronger fines on tele-marketeers who are at fault. 4) Finally multiple ways how a consumer can register for NDNC registry. We all know how many educated are there in the county and on top of it how many people have access to internet. So the mechanism to register should incude for example all service providers wherein a consumer can call his service provider who in turns registers him on the NDNC registry. For e.g a Hutch subscriber calls Hutch Customer Care who registers this subscriber to NDNC registry. In plain simple terms TRAI has AGAIN demonstrated lacking of forsight, planning & execution. It also makes a consumer wonder whether the motive's from authorities like TRAI are infact in favour of consumers. We all know the loss of business the telecom companies are going to face once the activites of tele-marketeers are curtailed. So is all this NDNC drama actually centered around consumer's favour ? I cannot help but ask myself this question. A suffering citizen of India Sandeep //We implemented even before TRAIimplemented this. That's why you so so many links. //You are not required to register with Non Telecom Companies //See homepage on how the registry works Hi, It’s wonderful to have such site so that customers can register their phone number not to disturb. Tele marketing keep on increasing day by day and its painful to register against each and every company and this site may not cover all the companies. Is there any possibility in future to have one centralized database for this registry and individual companies in turn take feed from this central repository. This will reduce pain for individual end customers. Thanks Raju //Already answered above, Thanks Please include Dutch Bank in your "Banks and Credit Card Companies - Do Not Disturb / Call Registration Forms" List. Thanking You, Vineet Agarwal //No more necessary to register with them. Thanks for your prompt reply but I must tell you that I have already done that and here is what happens in the sequence of Jpegs. There is either some problem in your site or you do not want people to register for this. Sandeep Madan //Sir, we don't maintain Airtel.in. message will be passed on to TRAI. I am glad that you have launched this initiative. I am grateful to you for this. I am, however, shocked that banks and insurance companies are demanding "Date of Birth" as mandatory information. I am unable to understand as to why? You must ask them to refrain from doing so as it is a private information and they have no use for the same if their intentions are entirely above board. In ABN Amro's form no values are provided in the drop down list for selecting the date while in ICICI's form you have click back arrow 60 times if you are 60 years old, that too if you are computer savvy. I think this is a big joke being played by these worthy marketers on poor citizens. Incidentally, Tata AIG's link does not lead to any registration form. With best regards, K K S //Thanks. You no more have to register with Non telecom Companies. Hello Many operators do not have a do not call registry seperately. They are fooling the customer by asking for more personel information which they will again use to give trouble by newer advertising techniques. I hope we will try to learn from the western experience & make things better much faster. There is no need to ask for birthdate, ADDRESS, E MAIL ID, ETC. WHEN WE WAHT IS ONLY THE DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND. tHIS IS A VERY GOOD INITIATIVE. tHE ADVANTAGES OF IT SHOULD NOT BE LOST BECAUSE OF POOR IMPLEMENTATION Thanks Shoma //I do understand your concern. Let TRAI handle this issue. Dear Sir /Madam, You should have a number centric dnd call registration and not an operator centric one. As per your current system, I need to register with every operator or bank tht I do not want to call. Request you to take action, so that I can block all calls. Regards, Ankush //Unfortuante TRAI designed it and we have to live with it
